End of Year Staff Gift Fund

The end-of-year staff gift fund is on the Shepard PTSO website now. The suggested starting donation is $50 per student.

Volunteers Needed / Reality 101

Reality 101 is a fun program being offered during the school day to both 6th and 7th graders this year.  Reality 101 is an activity that is designed to teach students how important it is to make good decisions.  During the program, participants will 'live' for one month as if they are 25 years old.  The 7th grade event is on Friday May 17th, and the 6th grade event is on Thursday May 23rd.  We are looking for volunteers to help during Cores 1 and 2, and also Cores 3 and 4.  No experience is needed.  Find out when your child has their Social Studies class and signup to help during that class.  Thank you!

Volunteers Needed / Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6th - 10th.  We will be celebrating our teachers all week long!

We are looking for volunteers to bring drinks and desserts for the Teacher Appreciation luncheon! 

The PTSO is providing lunch for our amazing staff during Teacher Appreciation week on Thursday May 9th.  Please volunteer to bring drinks or store bought nut-free desserts.  Desserts can be dropped off to the Shepard front office on the 9th by 9:00 a.m.  If possible, please bring the drinks the day before so we can have them chilled for lunch!

What does the PTSO do?

The PTSO coordinates acknowledging our teachers and staff for life events such as new baby presents and wedding gifts!  We also have busy celebrating our amazing staff over the last few weeks. We celebrated Mrs. Zlotnikov for Assistant Principal Day, Mrs Trudeau and Mrs. Vannanen for Librarian Day, and Mrs. Layne and Mrs. Moy for Administrative Assistant Day. We are so grateful for our outstanding staff!
